Self-introduction
I keep nine Akitas at the moment.
They are for exhibitions(showing)
in some cases, but are also for
my pet dogs in other cases.
I don`t narrow down to one single
purpose.
Either showing or breeding will do for
me.
Trigger of the start of showing was the pet-shop person invited me to
go to a dog show and I was told by him just to let my dog stand during
the show.
I was meaninglessly positive to win the first prize because I put too
much confidence in my Akita`s loveliness.
So I exhibited mine to the show, but as it turned out, my Akita was
second worst.
I couldn`t accept this miserable result, but I had a great desire to try
it again.
My second challenge to the show began from there.
I learned there`s a certain standard in dog-showing, better awesome
posture and also learned just standing there is not highly praised at all.
Having failed several times, I went to many far places all over Japan
to meet a lot of dogs and learned a great deal from the experience.
Then I have tried to breed and raise Akitas because I just wanted to
see the cute puppies born from my own Akita.
This was what began it all.
I also learned that breeding is not simply mating one male with other
female.
The most important part of breeding is blood.
I still have a long way to go and learn much more about the Akita.
